A brand new space for entrepreneurs called “Kiosk JobYourself” has been inaugurated on Boulevard Anspach in the very centre of Brussels.
Passers by have certainly already noticed the kiosk in the promenade area of Brussels – this small commercial area has 5.7 m2. The initiative JobYourself allows new entrepreneurs to test their project in the popular pedestrian zone. This is a great way for those who are starting in business to test their new products and then decide if they want to go bigger. Eventually, if the experience is conclusive, entrepreneurs can seek a permanent commercial space to grow their project.
Fabian Maingain, alderman for employment in the City of Brussels shared his views on the importance of this project – “I wanted to encourage entrepreneurship as a job prospect through this project. Through support and the possibility of testing its project, the City of Brussels offers direct support for entrepreneurial creation and strengthens its commercial project in the pedestrian zone.” Kiosk is a project of the JobYourself cooperative with the support of the alderman Fabian Maingain and the City of Brussels.
If you have just started your project and need a little help before the next step, get in touch with JobYourself. Maybe this could be a good opportunity to test your idea in the heart of the city! JobYourself is looking for candidate-entrepreneurs to occupy their kiosk. For more information consult their website and their Facebook page.
