You probably noticed the Ferris Wheel on the Place Poelaert. Photographer Péter Kajtár captured the wheel from another perspective – wondering if the images can bring many ideas, thoughts and feelings from different people. Love, anger, joy or anxiety, all emotions are there. This is the author’s story, his perspective and a collection of photos that will make you wonder.

After discovering the Ferris Wheel at Place Polaert, I could capture it as I’ve never seen before.

I use different special long exposure technique which shows a hidden face of this landmark. Even though the pictures has been taken from the same spot and about the same object, as the light changes it always gives different results and I spent days to capture the right seconds. It wasn’t easy sometimes because of the cold or wind, but I had to capture them as the ferris wheel planned to move back to its usual location at the Christmas market where the conditions are not the same.

I love how the same image can bring many ideas, thoughts and feelings from different people. Love, anger, joy or anxiety, all emotions are there.
