On Sunday, the Balloon’s Day Parade took place as the closing event of the Brussels Comic Strip Festival. Our photographer Aris Setya wandered the streets of Brussels and made many beautiful photos of the festive atmosphere.
More than 100,000 people attended the Comic Strip Festival and there were more than 100 exhibition stands, 300 authors and artists, and more than 700 autograph signings.
On Sunday, 15th September, 15 giant balloons took over the streets of the city in the event that became known as the Balloon’s Day Parade.
visit.brussels (the organiser) announced that 2020 edition brings a venue change – the event will move to a brand-new site of the Gare Maritime of Tour & Taxis. The Comic Strip Festival 2020 takes place from 11th to 13th September 2020.
