‘The Weeping Elephant’ is on its journey and it arrived to Brussels! It arrived from Rotterdam on July 12 and will stay on the Flagey square until September 22nd 2017.
‘The Weeping Elephant’, an artwork by Jantien Mook, is a sculpture of an African elephant, fife meters high, made of beech stems, patterns in steel, segments of bark and knots for her eyes. She travels around the world and appears in cities, she ‘weeps’ to make her presence felt.
