How well do you know Flagey? Our illustrator Zsofi made this drawing about one of the most popular places in our city. The former “Maison de la Radio Flagey”, a building in the shape of a giant steamship, was re-opened in September 2002. The structure was built between 1935 and 1938 by an architect Joseph Diongre. It was named after Eugene Flagey, the mayor of Ixelles/Elsene. In 1988, the building got a new owner and it became “Maison de la Radio Flagey”.
Don’t miss the other drawings on our website, we recommend Flagey neighborhood map and the one about Palais de Justice 🙂
