Pierre Marcolini: Summer collection – The Citrus Garden

  • Editorial Team
  • June 1, 2021
  • 2 minute read

The atelier of Pierre Marcolini welcomes the most beautiful season with a delicate explosion of citrus fruits. The summer collection is titled “The Citrus Garden” and brings a variety of inspirations.

For several years, Pierre Marcolini has been sublimating his recipes with Asian citrus fruits such as yuzu, Buddha’s hand and sudachi. This summer, the master chocolate maker chose citrus fruits from Southern Europe to satisfy our appetite for goodies.

The chef, striving for an impeccable supply of raw materials, selected the best European producers to bring us the most beautiful citrus of the Mediterranean Sea. Oranges from Valencia, bergamot from Calabria, lemons from Nice … Expect to taste sour notes, spicy zest, tender flesh and the subtle bitterness. In the form of infusions, compotes and candied fruit, their vibrant freshness is even more evident. The result is delicious summer treats.

The collection
Amaretti that melt on the palate, candied fruit with a homemade chocolate coating, original cake or macaroons – Pierre Marcolini’s summer collection is a succession of gastronomic and fruity pleasures. They transport us to an Iberian garden or evoke the sunny perfumes of the beautiful Côte d’Azur. In short, la dolce vita within reach.

About Maison Pierre Marcolini

The Maison Pierre Marcolini was founded in 1995 in Brussels by Pierre Marcolini, a renowned chocolatier with exceptional craftsmanship. Today, Pierre Marcolini is Creative Director of the Maison, which enjoys an excellent reputation for sourcing its raw materials directly and ethically from independent cocoa producers in Cameroon, Cuba, Ecuador, Venezuela and Madagascar. The prestigious cocoa beans are complemented by rare, carefully selected exotic ingredients, such as pink pepper from Morocco, Iranian pistachios, Szechuan pepper, vanilla from Madagascar, Sicilian lemons, Ceylon cinnamon or hazelnuts from Piedmont.

Pierre Marcolini offers exceptional chocolates and sweet treats, without forgetting the famous macarons. Today the Maison has more than 40 boutiques in Belgium, France, the United Kingdom, Monaco, Japan and China. His craftsmanship and unlimited creativity make him a master at creating unforgettable flavors and intense emotions.

In 2020, according to the study «Truth about the New Europe» carried out by the McCann communication service, the House was designated by the Belgians as the brand that reflects the spirit of Belgium.
