Brussels Music Agenda: Concerts, festivals and open-air parties in September

Brussels and Belgium are back on track and the concerts season is about to resume with plenty of shows for everyone. From pop multiplatinum selling bands like KATSEYE or Pussycat Dolls to rock and metal legends like Judas Priest or Evanescence, passing by sweet and soulful voices like those of Yebba, Ella Mai, Carminho or Daniel Caesar. Simply, September is filled with concerts, festivals and open air parties – find them all in our review below!

Festivals, Open Air parties and other music events: 

On 5 September Hexagon, a new multidisciplinary space for music, events and nightlife opens in Brussels at the premises of the former Reset. An event with concerts and DJs will welcome you from 22h to 6h. Get your tickets here.

Also on 5 September, celebrate the launch of La Monnaie’s 2026–27 season with a festive free Open Day filled with music, discoveries and surprises. Check out the programme for the day: 

  • 10h00-1200 Free access and concerts in the Theatre
  • 12h00–14h00 Live music picnic on Place de la Monnaie
  • 14h00–16h00 Free access and concerts in La Monnaie’s Workshops
  • 16h00–18h00 Free open-air screening of the opera L’elisir d’amore on Place de la Monnaie

On 12 September, 5 open airs will be taking place in the heart of Brussels. Brussels Open Air Festival is organised by various promoters and music groups, they reflect the diversity and richness of our capital’s party scene: Congrès – Dalle Administrative, Place Poelaert, Place d’Espagne, Place Jean-Rey and Vaux Hall. From 11 to 21 September Fêtes de Wallonie are back with 5 days of concerts, traditions and folklore in Namur with concerts by Belgian artists like Puggy, Mustii, Camille Yembe and many more. Check the complete programme here.

Fancy a concert abroad worth travelling for? London hosts concerts from millennial popstar Hillary Duff, KPOP band XG or US pop-soul star Anastacia and Paris welcomes legendary Fugees singer Lauryn Hill, indie rock band The Neighbourhood and US rapper A$AP Rocky.
