Dogs are social creatures. Humans are too. So, why not make it easier for both to meet, mingle, and have fun together? That’s the idea behind Le Rendez Woof, a new app that’s part social network, part matchmaking platform, and 100% designed for dogs. We met with Brussels-based founders, Amra and Fendi, to learn more about this new initiative and their plan to take over the world.
At the heart of the project is a matching algorithm that pairs dogs for playdates based on age, breed, personality quirks, play style, communication style, emotional style, and even home habits. Imagine Tinder for dogs, but without the drama. Owners can discover perfect playmates for their pups, while the dogs themselves get a chance to shine in a profile made just for them.

From Brussels with bark: Meet Le Rendez Woof, the first social network app for dogs
Le Rendez Woof is also the first social media platform for dogs. Every pup has a profile, stories are shared daily, and features like our “Daily Pawscope” give a playful, lighthearted twist that keeps the community engaged. Beyond fun, the app is designed to be a one-stop ecosystem: advice from trusted professionals, a registry of vetted vets, presentations of canine experts from groomers to behavioralists, and interviews with both owners and professionals to identify gaps in dog life in Bruxelles and beyond. While the app is launching in Bruxelles, it is coming to all larger urban centers in Belgium by the end of 2027.
The community isn’t just online, it takes action. From advocating for more off-leash spaces, hosting adoption days, organizing round tables, to debating hot topics like raw food and sterilization, Le Rendez Woof is about connecting, learning, and improving life for dogs and their humans alike.
Le Rendez Woof is playful. It’s thoughtful. It’s for anyone who knows that life with a dog is richer when shared, and easier when everything you need is in one place.

About the Founders
Amra is the founder of Le Rendez Woof, a journalist with 15 years of professional experience whose greatest passion is storytelling… and her dog. The co-founder and Chief Inspiration Officer is Fendi, a 2-year-old Yorkshire Terrier who sparked the entire project.
Fendi, often shy around other dogs at the park, inspired Amra to build a solution that makes socialization easier for dogs and their pawrents. With a team of developers, Amra created a unique matching algorithm that helps dog owners across Belgium find the perfect playmates, taking socialization beyond the human world.
To download: The app is available on both Apple and Google stores.
