July starts hot with in a new open-air festival in front of the Royal Palace in Brussels, bringing French retro-futuristic composer Jean-Michel Jarre on 1st July. In 1993, Belgians will remember for a long time the appearance of the artist on a stage at the foot of the Atomium, for a show that attracted nearly 70.000 spectators. Tickets out now here.
Not less famous than Jarre, Australian superstar Kylie Minogue brings her Tension Tour to Sportpaleis on the same day, after dozens of sold-out arenas around the world. Hurry up, there are still some tickets left!
Jack Brel’s music will come alive with Brel! Le Spectacle!, a tribute to the legendary Belgian artist by up-and-coming singer Olivier Laurent in a very special location, Brussels’ Grand Place on 3 July. Get your tickets here.
The team of the 5th International Festival MUSIC ACADEMY FORTE 2025 is hosting a gala on 12 July celebrating musical excellence and cultural exchange in Brussels’ Town Hall. This special evening will showcase the talents of musicians from around the world who have taken part in a week of intensive masterclasses and rehearsals. More info and tickets here.
Music festivals take over every corner of Belgium this month including our very own Brussels, starting with Vauxhall Summer until 13 July. Located in Brussels Park, the multidisciplinary festival offers DJ sets, classical music concerts, circus, games, and many more activities for free.
Jazz lovers cannot miss Brussels’ Brosella Festival from 4-6 July, with concerts by Mayra Andrade and Gabriel Rios and Gent Jazz between 4 and 19 July, with St Vincent, Leon Bridges, Massive Attack and Bonnie Raitt among others.
Electronic music fans have an annual double date with Tomorrowland, widely regarded as one of, if not the most important and iconic electronic music festivals in Europe today, but also one of the hardest to get tickets for. If you are not lucky enough, but you prefer something by the coast, Summerlove (5-6 July), Ostend Beach Festival (12-13 July) and Beach Festival Niewport (19-20 July) will also bring some of the hottest DJs and artists by the sea. Another classic and established festival is Rock Werchter, near Leuven, bringing for its 50th edition international artists like Linkin Park, Green Day, Simple Minds, RAYE, Olivia Rodrigo and many more from 3-6 July. In the same location later in the month, 1-day festival Werchter Boutique will vibe with performances by Imagine Dragons. Bazart, Emma Bale, Jorja Smith and many more. Get your tickets asap!

Fancy a getaway out of Belgium? London’s Hyde Park will host its annual BST concert series with the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, Neil Young or Stevie Wonder. The British capital will also host concerts by rapper 50 Cent with R&B queen Mary J Blige and Alanis Morisette. To the south, our neighbours in Paris will welcome international stars like Kendrick Lamar and SZA, Chris Brown, Robbie Williams, Diana Ross and Rauw Alejandro.
