After fifty years, a new chapter unfolds as the legendary Astoria Concerts return to the heritage ballroom of this iconic Brussels hotel. Starting on 16 February, the Kheops Ensemble will set the tone for an extraordinary season ahead.

Founded over fifty years ago, the Astoria Concerts quickly became a symbol of musical excellence in Brussels, captivating audiences in the historic Waldorf Hall. For three decades, these concerts shaped the city’s cultural identity, spotlighting rising talents and celebrated artists. Now, this legendary tradition returns in the beautifully reimagined Salon Elisabeth, ready to inspire a new generation of music lovers.
The grand return at Corinthia Brussels
The opening concert on 16 February 2025, marks the return of the Astoria Concerts with a distinguished performance by the Kheops Ensemble with Tatiana Samouil (violin), Marie Hallynck (cello) and Muhiddin Durruoglu (piano). The programme features Dmitri Shostakovich’s Trio Op. 8 and Johannes Brahms’ Trio Op. 8, two masterpieces that promise to captivate and inspire.
The hotel has also prepared some exclusive offerings for the occasion: visitors can choose premium seating for an elevated view of the performance, accompanied by a glass of champagne upon arrival, or indulge in a meticulously curated lunch served in an exquisite setting that perfectly complements the afternoon’s elegance.
