Festivals, concerts and music events in October

The usual uncertain weather in Brussels does not stop the capital from offering festivals, concerts and other music-related events all over the city and the country. Here you have a selection of interesting events happening in October.

Concerts:

Jonas Brothers (Sportpaleis, Antwerp, 01 October). Five albums. One Night Only. Your favourite pop family trio, Jonas Brothers, are performing in Antwerp with the biggest hits from their repertoire. Catch them also in Paris on 13 October. Tickets. 

Janet Jackson (Sportpaleis, Antwerp, 03 Octobre). Belgian fans have been waiting a long time, but finally the wait is over: The legendary Janet Jackson is bringing her ‘Together Again’ tour to Antwerp. Get ready for a night of greatest hits. Tickets. 

Bryan Adams (Forest National, Brussels, 03 October). After a four decades career, you might think Bryan Adams would take it easy, but nothing could be further from the truth. His latest album, ‘So Happy It Hurts’, and the accompanying tour prove that. Tickets. 

Barbara Pravi (La Madeleine, Brussels, 03 October). The French singer-songwriter, who enchanted the world with her beautiful song ‘Voilà’ at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021, is back to Belgium with a new album this autumn. You can also catch her in DeRoma, Antwerp on 24 October. Tickets. 

Within Temptation (Lotto Arena, Antwerp, 04-05 Octobre). The Dutch symphonic metal band who breakout in the early 2000s is back with a new album titled ‘Bleed Out’. Tickets. 

Slimane (Forest National, Brussels, 05 October). After his successful participation in Eurovision 2024 for France and an stellar performance at the opening of the Olympic Games in Paris, the French superstar will blow Forest National with his new album ‘Chroniques d’un Cupidon’.  Tickets. 

Cat Burns (Ancienne Belgique, Brussels, 10 Octobre). The British singer-songwriter presents her debut album ‘Early Twenties’. Tickets. 

Coeur de Pirate (Le Forum, Liège, 10 October). Probably the most famous francophone singer from Quebec returns to Belgium with new songs and all-time classics. Tickets.

Emiliana Torrini (De Roma, Antwerp, 15 October). One of the most praised Icelandic singers, after Björk, known for her 2009 hit ‘Jungle Drum’, comes to Antwerp with new album titled ‘Miss Flower’. Tickets.

Glass Animals (Forest National, Brussels, 16 October). After having captivated the world with their mega hit ‘Heat Waves’ in 2020, Glass Animals announces their comeback with a concert at Forest National. Tickets.

Käärijä (La Madeleine, Brussels, 16 October). Finland’s finalist in Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with ‘Cha Cha Cha’, the already iconic performer mixes rap, metal, rock and drum-‘n’-bass.  More info.  

Crowded House (Cirque Royal, Brussels, 19 October). The legendary Australian band brings their Dravity Stairs Tour to Belgium. Tickets.

Barry Can’t Swim (Ancienne Belgique, Brussels, 21 October). After playing iconic festivals like Glastonbury this Summer, Scottish DJ and producer will bring the house down at AB with his infecting electronic tunes. Tickets.

Ms Lauryn Hill (Sportpaleis, Antwerp, 23 Octobre). Ready or not, the legendary American rapper and singer-songwriter celebrates 30 years of career as part of The Fugees and as a soloist accompanied by her son YG Marley. Catch her also in Paris on 18 & 19 October. Tickets.

Sum 41 (ING Arena, Brussels, 23 October). Canadians Sum 41 celebrate almost 30 years of career with a goodbye album and a tour coming to Brussels this month. Tickets.

Gavin DeGraw (Cirque Royal, Brussels, 24 October). American Grammy-winner country singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw celebrates 20 years of his debut album with a European tour that you cannot miss. Tickets.

Nas (Cirque Royal, Brussels, 28 October). The American Grammy-winner rapper celebrates the 30th anniversary of his iconic record ‘Illmatic’. Tickets.

Joan As Police Woman (Botanique, Brussels, 28 October). The US singer-songwriter brings “emotional honesty that underpins her music” and presents her new album ‘The Solution Is Restless’. Tickets. 

Deep Purple (Forest National, Brussels, 28 October). the iconic rock band, is coming to Brussels. Enjoy their iconic riffs and classic hits like ‘Smoke on the Water’, ‘Highway Star’ and ‘Child in Time’ live. Tickets. 

Cigarettes After Sex (Forest National, Brussels, 29 October). Experience the dreampop of this band live and lose yourself in the dreamy melodies, melancholic lyrics and the sensual voice of Greg Gonzalez. Tickets.

The Last Dinner Party (Cirque Royal, Brussels, 29 October). After touring around Europe and a celebrated set at Rock Werchter, the British indie-rock band returns to Belgium with its latest album ‘Prelude to Ecstasy’. Tickets.

Purple Disco Machine (Ancienne Belgique, Brussels, 31 October). German nu-disco and house music record producer and DJ will bring his groove and floor-filling hits to Belgium this month. Catch him also on 30 October in OM Concerts, Liège. Tickets.

Festivals

FrancoFaune (Brussels/Liège/La Louvière, 02-12 October). With 50 concerts in 20 locations, FrancoFaune offers a spotlight on the diversity, originality and innovation of the French-speaking scene, by established and emerging francophone artists from Belgium, Switzerland and Canada. Tickets.

In.out.sider Festival (LaVallée, Brussels, 04-06 October). A unique, multidisciplinary experience shining a spotlight on raw and unconventional artistic practices, from music to circus. FREE. More info.
