More good news for the rooftop aficionados – Sofitel Brussels Europe is reopening its “The Roof by The 1040” lounge on the 7th floor. Located on the popular Place Jourdan, this will be a perfect spot for ending a busy day in 7th Heaven, whether for a moment alone or with friends.

“The Roof by The 1040” offers a cozy space protected by a pergola. Visitors can expect relaxing music, high or low tables, comfortable armchairs… all that is necessary for a relaxing afterwork or evening drink. The terrace at the top of this 5-star hotel offers great views over the Place Jourdan and the roofs of this part of the EU quarter.

The bar menu offers delicious and surprising cocktails as well as the tapas menu. Homemade cocktails and mocktails, Champagne, spirits and wines are accompanied by numerous snack options and platters to share, subtle and delicate “finger foods”, such as salmon tartare, Tex-Mex chicken skewers, saffron hummus and pan-fried asparagus, grilled pineapple with pan-fried foie gras…. and many other delicacies.

The Roof by The 1040 is open every day 7/7 (*) from 5 p.m. and until midnight. The tapas service and music stop at 10 p.m. so as not to disturb the neighbors but it is possible to order drinks until 11:30 p.m.

The Roof by The 1040 can be accessed by one of the two elevators located in the bright hotel lobby. The venue accommodates up to 50 people at a time and reservations are not necessary.

The space can also be privatized for birthdays, company evenings, weddings and other festivities.
