MIMA museum presents its new expo in Brussels titled Popcorn, a group show featuring 15 artists who paint a colourful, offbeat and dreamlike picture of our society, with a dose of surrealism comparable to that of the 1930s.
As the museum explains, the humorous experience is as much a guaranteed visual shock as it is an antidote to winter melancholy. Popcorn is an atypical, very local gateway on contemporary art, bringing together young and experienced artists to this popular Brussels museum.
The exhibition opened on 2 February and will last until 26 May 2024.
Featured artists:
Mrzyk et Moriceau, Pol-Edouard, Fabien Karp, Gary Card, Adèle Aproh, Elene Usdin, Michael Polakowski, Julien Colombier, Amandine Urruty, Delphine Somers, Antoine Carbonne, Davor Gromilovic, Nina Vandeweghe, Silio Durt.
The museum is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays. Opening hours from Wednesday to Friday, 10am-6pm and weekends from 11am to 7pm.
