Anima, the Brussels International Animated Film Festival, comes back for its 43rd edition from February 23 to March 3, 2024! The only festival of this kind in Belgium will take place in Flagey, at the Marni, as well as at the Cinematek. Anima is the festival for all audiences, with more than 300 animated films aimed at young and old alike.
Programme: What to expect?
Anima dedicates all its mornings and afternoons to children with previews, selections of short films, replays of the best films of the past year, workshops, exhibitions and fun activities, without forgetting its essential pancakes! From 6 p.m., the screenings are aimed at a more adult audience with a whole host of feature films to discover this year, including the opening film Mars Express and the previews of Deep Sea, Phoenix: Reminiscence of Flower and Blue Giant.
There will also be family premieres of the latest Kung Fu Panda 4, as well as the colourful Chicken for Linda! (Linda veut du poulet!) and Fox and Rabbit Save the Forest (Renard et Lapine sauvent la forêt). The public will also be able to celebrate the short films with the return of the Queer Night, the famous Animated Night and all the Best of Shorts and This is Belgian screenings with loads of guests!
