A new temporary exhibition, Art in Democracy, is opening in the Parlamentarium on 23rd October 2023. The exhibition explores the relationship between art and democracy through a selection of artworks from the European Parliament Contemporary Art Collection.

The artworks from different European countries offer a personal interpretation of different aspects of democracy. They also highlight the relevance of democracy for diversity, inclusiveness, and freedom of expression. The exhibition takes place from 23rd October 2023 until 7th January 2024 and the access is free.
In addition, visitors of Parlamentarium can discover the world of the European Parliament, Europe’s largest parliamentary visitors centre. Expect to dive into the heart of this institution, gaining insight into the path towards European cooperation, how the European Parliament works and what its Members are doing to meet the challenges of today.
The museum can be experienced in any of the European Union’s 24 official languages. The visitors centre is open seven days a week and entrance is free of charge. It is fully accessible for visitors with disabilities.
