The new edition of Brussels Art Square takes place from 22 to 24 September 2023 all around the Sablon quarter. The event is a true celebration of the Sablon neighbourhood and since 2005 it aspires to preserve the unique history of Sablon and promote art, culture and lively atmosphere of this popular Brussels district.
More than 60 art and antique galleries, will be opening their doors during this year’s Brussels Art Square (BAS). This is a wonderful opportunity to discover exceptional pieces, inaccessible locations, contemporary artists and international galleries that will be making a special trip to the Sablon quarter. Many of the galleries will present exclusive works that have never been available on the art market before.

International galleries from Vienna, Switzerland, London and Paris, as well as other Belgian venues, will be exhibiting their most emblematic and exclusive pieces. The BAS is also an opportunity to push open the doors of Sablon galleries that are usually open by appointment. It’s a chance to admire sculptures, paintings, jewellery and furniture spanning 10,000 years of history and artistic trends.
After the United Kingdom and Spain, this year the privileged guest is Italy. A selection of Italian antique dealers and gallery owners will set up shop at the initiative of the Brussels Art Square association, with their colleagues during this September weekend.
The Sablon is recognised as a mecca for artistic discoveries and unmissable meeting place for collectors, connoisseurs and antique lovers. Additionally, this year the Minimes church is celebrating its 300th anniversary and there will be free concerts on offer as part of the programme.
