This year, the Brussels-Capital Region hosts Brussels Urban Summit, the meeting place for urban experts, city leaders, urban planners and all other stakeholders involved in different urban topics. The event takes place in the Square meeting centre from 12 to 15 June 2023.
For the first time, this summit will bring together three international conferences in one place: the 14th world congress of Metropolis, the annual conference of Eurocities and the sixth Summit of the Champion Mayors for Inclusive Growth Initiative of OECD.
The challenges facing cities today are many – from climate change & migration to urban growth and inequality. At the same time, cities are the drivers for the innovation needed for a greener and more inclusive future. The choices we make in the next few years will determine our future for decades to come – for our cities and beyond.
Cities are strongest when they work together. This is why this year, Eurocities is partnering with Metropolis, the OECD Champion Mayors’ Initiative and the Brussels Capital Region to put on the Brussels Urban Summit that goes beyond anything seen before.
