The not-to-be-missed event for lovers of gastronomy and thrills, Dinner in the Sky will be held in Brussels on the esplanade of the Koekelberg Basilica from 10 to 19 June and in Genk on the spectacular C-mine site from 5 to 11 September.
In Brussels, this 2022 edition will of course bring together some of the leading chefs on the Belgian gastronomic scene: Yves Mattagne from Villa Lorraine, David Martin from La Paix, Bart De Pooter from De Pastorale, Alexandre Dionisio from Villa in the Sky, Isabelle Arpin, Giovanni Bruno from Senzanome, Alain Bianchin, Luigi Ciciriello & Eric Lindelauf from La Truffe Noire, but it will also feature the new generation by welcoming two Belgian TOP CHEFs – seasons 2020 and 2022 – at the top of their game: Mallory Gabsi and Arnaud Delvenne.
Another novelty: Cocktails in the Sky at the weekend at 4pm, which will give lesser- known chefs and barmen the opportunity to demonstrate that the Belgian gastronomic scene is full of passion. In Genk, Wim Schildermans of JER, Jo Grootaers of Altermezzo, Gary Kirchens of Aurum, Koen Somers of De Kristalijn and, as guests of honour, Anne-Sophie and Jaume Soler of Ansoler will delight the 32 guests at this unique table.
In the meantime, Stefan Kerkhofs and David Ghysels are continuing to develop Dinner in the Sky around the world, from Indonesia to Switzerland, via Nepal and Jamaica. The Dinner in the Sky experience has gone from being a pop-up experience to one that is more and more permanent, with ongoing experiences in Malta, Athens, Jakarta, Dubai, London and Sao Paulo. Always in the most beautiful locations and always with the best chefs like Thomas Troisgros in Sao Paulo, fourth generation of the famous Troisgros family. More than ever, Dinner in the Sky is flying the flag for Belgium!
