Spring & summer concerts in the Citizens’ Garden

  • Editorial Team

  • 2 minute read

Something really special for the upcoming months in Brussels! The beautiful Citizens’ Garden of the European Parliament will host a series of classical music concerts during the spring and summer.

From Monday to Friday, Citizens’ Garden will be the venue where classical music performances are held by different musicians and ensembles. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to see world-renowned musicians from Brussels and beyond performing in this intimate and beautiful venue. The programme features an eclectic mix of styles, from classical to opera and jazz to world music.

Citizens’ Garden is located in the grounds of the former residence and studio of the 19th century artist Antoine Wiertz, just 100 metres from the European Parliament’s official entrance. The garden opened to the public for the first time in September 2020 thanks to investment and renovation by the European Parliament. You can find out more information about this park in our photo story from the Citizens’ Garden.

To check the timetable of the concerts and latest relevant information, consult the Concerts in the Citizens’ Garden page on the Visit European Parliament website.

Garden offers a chance to step into a serene, green oasis amid the busy European Quarter but visitors should also not miss other points of interest in the immediate vicinity – House of European History, Parlamentarium as well as the possibility to visit the Hemicycle of the European Parliament. Visits to all of these institutions are free of charge.
