Video: Brussels opera singer gives concert from her balcony!

So many creative things are happening these days, a normal consequence considering the fact that we all have to stay home and look for ways to entertain ourselves. Since group outdoor activities are forbidden for the moment, concerts in musical venues are not an option. But, what happens when Brussels opera singer decides to give a concert from her balcony? This is exactly the experience that Sarah Defrise (an opera singer) and Stéphane Ginsburgh (professional pianist) offered to their neighbourhood.

To be entertained during this confinement, you can listen to music at home or watch concerts on your TV or computer. But in Brussels, residents also enjoy real outdoor concerts. Some artists have indeed decided to liven up their street and set the mood in their neighborhood in recent days. Example, in Forest. This Sunday, the residents of King’s Avenue and their ears had a little surprise in the form of an improvised concert by their neighbors.

The video also shows many neighbours who heard the music and came out on their windows and balconies to enjoy in this special moment of of shared joy.

As reported by RTBF, the couple hopes that this video will encourage other artists to also offer shows from their windows and balconies, so that the confinement gives us a chance to discover some new talents.
