The exhibition ‘Ma ville et mon corps interculturels’ (My town and my intercultural body) has been the vibrant centre of Halles Saint-Géry throughout the summer.
Wednesday, August 29, 2018, 6 pm – 10 pm – Now it is time for it to come to an end to assess together the contributions on the participative maps displayed during the summer while nibbling some crisps, a soft drink or perhaps something stronger in our hands and a great dance soundtrack in our ears. Beware: we want dynamic and subjective discussions… not scientific!
What preliminary conclusions can be drawn? Do we find some of the maps surprising? Intriguing? Do they confirm some of our observations? How should we use that sensitive data? How do we follow up? What do you think of the approach used?
For those of you who have not yet contributed to the charts, you can still do so during the closing evening of the exhibition. This is a unique opportunity to tell us your experience of Brussels life and to learn about other people by their answers to extremely diverse questions like Where do you go to flirt with someone? or Where have you experienced violence?
15 of the team-rooms will still be available to you with the recordings and photos (don’t forget your smart phones and consider downloading the QR scan).
+++ DANCE MUSIC, FREE DRINKS AND INTERCULTURAL NIBBLES +++
At the end of the evening the furniture from the exhibition will be sold off at very reasonable prices: don’t hesitate to take a lamp, a chair or a coffee table back home with you!
