Brussels was full of celebrations in the past days! Belgian National Day (Nationale feestdag/Fête nationale) is the national holiday in our country, celebrated on 21st of July each year. We share with you the message posted by @thetinynomad on her instagram profile:
Cheers to the chocolate, the festivals, the Belgian fries, the rain, the beer, the traffic jam, the 104 languages spoken in Brussels, the Red Devils, the government crisis, the King and the fritkots. Let’s not forget how lucky we are to live in a free country, where the national symbol is a tiny peeing boy. F*ck yeah Belgium!
But celebrations started already on the evening of 20th July with the traditional Bal National on the Place du Jeu de Balle / Vossenplein in the Marolles. At the same time, the Tomorrowland pre-party took place at the Grand Place so our city looked really festive and the choice for those wishing to celebrate was huge! 🙂 We share with you some moments through the photos of fellow instagrammers.
