Brussels Jazz Festival 2017 at Flagey

  • Editorial Team
  • January 9, 2017
  • 2 minute read
This third edition of the Brussels Jazz Festival marks the 100th anniversary of jazz at Flagey. Exactly 100 years ago, the first jazz album Livery Stable Blues was created by the Original Dixieland Jass Band. Marc Danval and Marc Van den Hoof, our very own jazz connoisseurs and radio icons take you on a journey through the history of jazz with a series of lectures. For this anniversary edition of the festival, young Belgian talents and international artists will share the stage at Flagey and two-time Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Roy Hargrove will open the Brussels Jazz Festival! And what’s more: you can come and enjoy numerous Belgian premieres, workshops and films. In short, Flagey will be jazzilicious!
