From 24 to 27 September 2026, Brussels Art Square returns for its 24th edition in the heart of the Sablon, the historic antiques district in the Belgian capital, a quartier where galleries, art dealers and craftspeople perpetuate a unique commercial and cultural heritage.
For four days, the public is invited to explore galleries, private mansions and exceptional venues, some of which are usually closed to the public. More than a simple fair, Brussels Art Square offers an immersion in a vibrant district where more than 10,000 years of art history naturally coexist: from archaeology to contemporary art, including Old Masters, design, decorative arts, jewellery, silverware, photography, ceramics, African and Oceanic art, and Asian art.
At a time when many historic art districts are gradually disappearing across Europe, the Sablon remains one of the few places where this diversity continues to thrive.
What’s new this year: A chance to revisit Sablon in new light and discover new sites
True to its identity, Brussels Art Square will exceptionally open several heritage sites that are rarely accessible to the public, including the former Apostolic Nunciature.
The route will also feature original exhibitions, including one devoted to eroticism, presented in a secret location in the district. The full programme will be unveiled during the summer.
With 62 participants, the 2026 edition also welcomes several new galleries, including Cabinet BXL, Pascale Vilain and Carl-Willem, further enriching the artistic landscape of the Sablon.
It will also bring together several international guests and temporary projects:

Where art, history and modernity collide: A true treasure hunt
Each gallery offers a world of its own. Along the cobbled streets, visitors may encounter Egyptian antiquities, a dinosaur fossil, a samurai armour, an African mask, a 17th-century Flemish painting, exceptional silverware, contemporary creations, or works by young international artists.
This diversity turns Brussels Art Square into a true treasure hunt, where collectors, art lovers and curious visitors share the same experience of discovery.

A timeless district: What makes Sablon such a unique neighbourhood
Today, the Sablon is one of the last districts in Europe where galleries, antique dealers, craftspeople and collectors continue to sustain a genuine ecosystem devoted to the arts. Since 2005, a non-profit organization Brussels Art Square (BAS) celebrates the rich artistic heritage of the Sablon district in Brussels. Each September, for four days, over 50 Belgian and international galleries open their doors to collectors, art lovers, and the public.
