Since 2005, a non-profit organization Brussels Art Square (BAS) celebrates the rich artistic heritage of the Sablon district in Brussels. Each September, for four days, over 50 Belgian and international galleries open their doors to collectors, art lovers, and the public. Don’t miss this unique event from 25-28 September 2025.
From archaeology to contemporary art, visitors can explore 4,000 years of creativity through paintings, sculptures, furniture, jewelry, and more — all in one of Europe’s most historic art districts. This year, BAS celebrates its 20th anniversary! Sablon’s most iconic art event features 52 participating galleries, showcasing specialties that span 4,000 years of art history — from archaeology to contemporary art.
The Sablon / Zavel area is home to the highest concentration of art dealers in Belgium. Brussels Art Square actively contributes to this reputation, bringing together local and international galleries that also exhibit at renowned international art fairs such as TEFAF, BRAFA, FIAC, Frieze New York, and The Armory Show.
More than just an exhibition, Brussels Art Square is a cultural journey at the heart of Europe, welcoming galleries and visitors from across the continent in one of Brussels’ most beautiful and historic neighborhoods.
