Summer is almost over but Brussels still has lots to offer with open-air festivals and the beginning of the concerts autumn season! This is your guide with a great mix of music events this September.
Fans of nostalgic and high class sounds, will enjoy the return to the stages of Belinda Carlisle on Cirque Royal on 3 September (tickets), Danish singer-songwriter and piano master Agnes Obel also at Cirque Royal on the 19 (tickets), and Canadian jazz singer Diana Krall will serenade Bozar on 30 September.
The British queen of pop-disco Sophie Ellis-Bextor returns to Brussels with a new album released in September and a show in Ancienne Belgique to perform hits like ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’. Get your tickets.
For pop and mainstream concert goers, Lauren Spencer-Smith has not one but 2 concerts in AB on 06 and 07 September (tickets) and British pop singer Alessi Rose will take over La Madeleine on 14 September, after previously open for Dua Lipa in Antwerp in May (tickets). Another newcomer, US rising popstar Addison Rae plays Cirque Royal on 04 September due to the success of her single ‘Diet Pepsi’ and a newly released debut album (tickets).
R&B lovers welcome two US stars performing in Brussels this month, Coco Jones in Ancienne Belgique on 12 September (tickets) and Jessie Reyez in the same venue on 20 September (tickets). Hip hop fans can bounce with hits by US rapper Lil Baby at Forest National on 17 September (tickets).
Legendary triphop Belgian band Hooverphonic celebrates 25 of their iconic album ‘The Magnificent Tree’ with two shows also in Ancienne Belgique on 26 & 27 September, and more dates to come in 2026. Tickets.
One Greek popstar lands in our city this month, Marina Satti, representing her country in Eurovision 2024, will present her eclectic blend of pop and traditional sounds at La Madeleine on 13 September. Get your tickets here.

Festivals and open-air parties
Show Up For Humanity is a free festival taking place by the Atomium on 20 September to raise awareness of humanitarian and environmental causes. The 1-day festival will count with performances by Doria D, Francisco, Gustaph, Axelle Red, Rori, Sandra Kim, Selah Sue, Sylvie Kreusch, Uwase, Colt, Warhaus, Charles and more. All info here.
Concertband Festival Brussels: A free brass and concert band festival held at the Grand-Place, running 13 & 14. A great family-friendly event highlighting live, outdoor band performances. More info.
One of the oldest jazz festivals in Brussels, Saint Jazz will take place on 13 and 20 of September with performances at La Tricoterie and Centre Culturel Jacques Franck. Check out the programe here.
Fiesta Latina returns from 05-07 September at Bois de la Cambre: three days of Latin music, dance, cuisine, and culture, with a special anniversary edition including performances by Drea Dury, Bajo Mundo, Alber Joe and more. Get your tickets here.
Two other festivals will take place the first weekend of September in our city, Molenfest (03-07, Molenbeek) with dances, circus, music, theatre, debates, films and several festivities (Programme) and Uckel’air (05 &06, Parc de Wolvendael), with performances by local artists Edaya, NKEY, Jewel Usain, Vicky R and more (Free access). At the same time, on 06 September, Sounds of Molenbeek (VK) will offer free concerts, dancehall and DJing workshops, photography and painting exhibitions, dance battles and more (More info.)
The weather is still sweet and Oostende welcomes back Manifiesta on 13 & 14 September with concerts by NENA, Barbara Pravi and many more (tickets) and fans of francophone indie music have an annual date with Les Nuits Indé in Liège on 18 & 19 September with free performances by Miel de Montagne, Lovelace and more. 27 September marks the annual French Community Day (Fête de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles), with concerts in every francophone corner of our country, included Brussels, but the programme is not out yet.
Namur celebrates Les Fêtes de la Wallonie from 12-22 September with plenty of activities anc concerts by artists like MC Solaar, Colt, Orlane, Coline BLF and more. Stay updated here.
The free students festival Brussel Brost will take place on 25 September in RESET with performances by Miss Angel, Faisal and many more. All Info.
Bozar Rooftop is open until the end of September, between 16:00 and 23:00, with free entrance! Enjoy a large range of musical guests, playing everything from jazz and soul to pop, disco, electro, rock, Latino, and R&B—something for everyone throughout the summer. More info here.
Every Wednesday in September, Jazz In The Woods offers free concerts at Le Kioske (Bois de la Cambre) for two hours! Enjoy food and drinks while you soak in the music. More info here.

International stars on tour near Belgium
Fancy a getaway out of Belgium? Coldplay continues their Music of the Spheres world tour, including a 10-night run at Wembley Stadium that extends into September 2025 (tickets), and Damiano David (from Måneskin) is set to take the stage at Paris’ Adidas Arena on 26 September (tickets) before coming to Brussels in October.
