Brussels rooftop jam – how great music and beautiful views come together in a new video by ANN

Did you ever notice how in some music videos there is a perfect blend between the music and the setting where the video is filmed? This is exactly the case with the new music clip of Brussels singer Ann who filmed a live jam session at one of the most beautiful Brussels rooftops – the one of the Jam Hotel.

With this video, Ann wanted to pay tribute to a rapper MC Solaar, who became really big in the nineties, by giving his song ‘Sequelles’ a new form. A songwriter herself, Ann says she heard it on the radio by chance and was deeply moved by the lyrics: ‘Suddenly I realized how his lyrics were deep and well written.’

And with the poetic lyrics of the song, Ann definitely wanted to film the video in a special place. She immediately thought of the Jam Hotel where she loves to spend time, especially at the rooftop terrace, having drinks with friends and collaborators, enjoying gorgeous Brussels views.

‘They are very open for artists and support them. A place to be in Brussels to feel good and happy. I love spending time there.’ says the singer.

Watching the video ‘Sequelles’ we can also see why. With Ann’s new long anticipated album coming out on 14th of February we can’t wait to hear it and until then– enjoy Sequelles!
