Festivals, concerts and music events in August

The usual uncertain weather in Brussels does not stop the capital from offering festivals, concerts and other music-related events all over the city. We went a step further and assembled a nice selection of interesting music events happening in August in Brussels and all around the Belgium so that all party aficionados can find something that suits their music taste.

Festivals

Plaisirs d’Été in French / Zomerpret. From July 26 to August 18, the Summer Wonders festival will highlight dance as a universal language that transcends linguistic barriers and geographical boundaries. More info

Suikerrock 2024 (Tienen). From 02-04/08. One of the oldest festivals in Belgium, with the performances by Lost Frequencies, Faithless, Anne-Marie, Oscar and The Wolf and more artists. More info

Sablon Music Festival (Sablon, Brussels).From 15-18/08. Free concerts by BJ Scott, Shelby Quattara and more. More info

Latin Reggaeton Festival (Quai de Bierstebroeck, Brussels) 17-18/08. DJs, live performances, food trucks and cocktails. More info 

Festival Plazey (Elisabeth Park, Brussels). From 23-25/08. World music, folk, country, circus and workshops. Free. More info

Midis-Minimes Festival. (Sablon, Brussels). The 38th edition promises an immersive musical experience this summer in two emblematic Brussels spots: the Royal Conservatory and the Notre-Dame des Victoires church in Sablon. Until 30 August. More info

Boterhammen in her Park, Bar Chaud and Feeërieën festival(Park Royal, Brussels) From 26-30/08. Concerts, workshops and food trucks in front of the Royal Palace with performances by Meau, Ucci Why, monokimono, Willem Ardeau and more. More info

Forest Sounds (Abbaye de Forest, Brussels). From 30-31/08, with concerts, DJs, performances, food and drinks. More info

Concerts: 

Justin Timberlake (Sportpaleis, Antwerpen). The Forget Tomorrow World Tour comes to Belgium on 03-04/08. As one of the best singers and dancers of his generation, he has been captivating the hearts of audiences for years. More info. 

TV Girl (Lotto Arena, Antwerpen). The Californian band playing on 03/08 has been extremely popular lately. Their unique combination of French pop, electronica, hip hop and cynical lyrics. More info. 

Lost Frequencies on the beach (Knokke-Heist). session by the worldwide famous Belgian DJ. More info. 

STACE (Grand Hospice, Brussels). 24/08. Neo-soul singer from Brussels. More info.  

Cut Papers + The Pigeons + Tree House Fire (DrinkDrink, Brussels). 29/08. Ska/Reggae. More info. 

Music events and parties:

90´s Party Outdoor (03.08) Boho Village, Blankenbergen). With The Makenzie ft Jessy. More info 

Bruxellons Festival (Karreveld Castle, Brussels). 26th edition of the Festival, dedicated to musical theatre, with performances until 28 of September. More info.
