City game Linea Recta challenge: Strategy and discovery in Marolles & Sablon

Are you ready for an adventure that will test the strategic skills and curiosity of you and your group? Look no further than our Marolles & Sablon Linea Recta, an exciting discovery program in Brussels, a team-building activity that will challenge your group to work together and collaborate without staring at smartphones and tablets!

This program (about 2h 15 mins) takes place in two special districts of Brussels – the Sablon area and the Marolles (Porte de Hal). Participants are divided into teams of 3 to 5 people and given a numbered city map and 15 numbered envelopes, each containing a task or question to complete. All documents are available in English, French, German, and Dutch.

Teams have 15 minutes to plan their trail before embarking on their journey. The tasks range in difficulty and each has its own score, adding to the competitive nature of the activity. By opening an envelope, teams commit to completing the task and earning points.

The city game is in fact a self-guided discovery tour, so teams must rely on their own instincts and teamwork to complete the challenges. The missions range from exploring local landmarks to solving riddles, all designed to encourage strategic thinking and urban discovery.

As the teams complete their tasks, they accumulate points towards the final score. The winning team is announced during the 30-minute debriefing session, where the results of each team is announced and the winning team gets a prize. The briefing & debriefing (in French, Dutch or in English) takes place in a traditional tavern and participants are offered 1 Belgian beer, glass of wine, soft drink, coffee or tea.
