Zaventem Ateliers at Paris Design Week

Encouraged by their success at the Milan Design Week last June, the designers of Zaventem Ateliers, located a stone’s throw from Brussels, are recreating the experience during the Paris Design Week in September. They will occupy the site of “Les Grandes Serres de Pantin”, formerly known as the Pouchard factory. In this industrial wasteland, destined to be rehabilitated soon, 12 designers will have the pleasure to invite you to share their energy and discover their creations. For three days, the former steel tube factory will become a reflection of Zaventem Ateliers, a crossroad for exchange and sharing between designers, artists, collectors, architects and aficionados dedicated to Collectible Design.

The project aims to be a place that shows the vision of a creative renaissance in a post-apocalyptic environment, a message of hope in these troubled times, a marker, a landmark towards our humanity. It will also be an opportunity to discover Les Grandes-Serres de Pantin, a place dedicated to culture and exchange.

Artists: Adeline Halot, Arno Declercq, Dim Atelier, Krjst Studio, Lila Farget, Lionel Jadot, Maison Jonckers, Pierre Coddens, Roxane Lahidji, Atelier Serruys, Ben Storms, Mircea Anghel.

About Zaventem ateliers

Created in 2019 by the designer, artist and interior architect Lionel Jadot, Zaventem Ateliers is a former industrial wasteland of 6000M2 that has become a place of creation, production, exchange and experimentation dedicated to collectible design. Located in the village of Zaventem, a stone’s throw from Brussels, this atypical hub, where the guild spirit reigns, brings together an eclectic community of emerging and established creators, designers, artists and scenographers, united by their passion for the decorative arts. Although each workshop is independent and has its own spirit, Zaventem Ateliers is an incubator of ideas, based on the sharing of know-how. The bridges created between the different workshops result in original and uninhibited productions laying the foundations of a new contemporary art of living.
