In case you were wondering, Hooverphonic will be Belgium’s entry for Eurovision 2021! The popular band will represent the country at this year’s song contest in Rotterdam. Their song is titled “The Wrong Place” but according to the comments of listeners on social media, the song is definitely in the “good place” to make positive impression with the European public.

Hooverphonic was formed in October 1995 and became very well known Belgian band due to several global hits such as “Mad About You”. The band was supposed to represent Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam (March 18, 2020) with their song “Release Me” but the show was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
