Very much Accessible Art Fair

What an extraordinary experience. Mid October, in Brussels, we had warm and sunny Sunday morning. Perfect day to go out and take an opportunity to enjoy art in the most accessible way ever.

What is special about Accessible Art Fair, is that visitors may talk to the artists themselves and hear direct insights and stories behind the creations.

Sven Weigle from Germany presented very intriguing works. His art carries strong socio-critical messages and Sven took time to explain techniques he used to create his works.

It was also a great pleasure to meet Dayron Gonzalez, who came all the way from Miami to present his extraordinary portraits. I have a soft spot for portraits and personally I have appreciated the way Dayron illustrates his emotions related to a portrayed person.

Being one myself, I could not resist to pay special attention to works of photographers.

First I had a chat with Marco Schmidt, Belgian fine art photographer. He explained about his visual poetries – photos featuring random encounters with no complicity of the subjects neither any artificial lights. You may see more of Marco’s works on Instagram.

I must also share amazing works of Krzysztof Szczurek, Polish photographer living in Brussels. His photos show space and calmness, so much needed in our busy reality.
