Photo story: General Assembly of the CCI France Belgique

CCI France Belgique – French Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Belgium held its 134th General Assembly in the beautiful Palais des Academies in Brussels. This was the opportunity to reflect on the organizational development, challenges and growth in the past years. It was also a chance to thank to the management, members, partners and all the people who contribute to the successful work of CCI France Belgique.

CCI France Belgique has the mission to support French companies wishing to set up in Belgium with their knowledge of the Belgian market and facilitating the implementation process for the French settlers in Belgium through practical services (local network, information on Belgium etc).

The General Assembly took place at Palais des Academies and started with the tour of this magnificent building in the center of Brussels. The event was supported by the CCI FB partners – BNP Paribas Fortis, Thalys, Renault, Group S and Guerlain.

Salvatore Orlando, Head of the Expatriates at the BNP Paribas Fortis shared his views on the importance of CCI’s work – We are very supportive to the expat business community and this is why we we are part of the CCI France Belgique. Connecting people and businesses and sharing expertise is also what we do at BNP Paribas Fortis, part of the group BNP Paribas. We are committed to helping expats and their companies to succeed in Belgium.

Strengthening the Franco-Belgian business community is one of the main goals of CCI, noted the outgoing director Renaud Bentégeat. CCI helps French companies to make the most of the opportunities offered by the Belgian market but also supports Belgian companies in the development of their activities in France.
