Urban snaps: VUB Rectorate building

Learning curve – we share this instagram photo of the Rectorate building of the VUB. “Feels like spring is just around the corner” was the comment by Steven (@nlsteven) who shared this image on a sunny winter day.

This is the view of the elliptically-shaped Rectorate building of the VUB – Free University of Brussels. Even though it is only around 30 years old, it has been classified as a protected monument due to its unique modernist architecture. The building was designed by by Renaat Braem.
