We Belgians like to complain about the weather in our country. If you know anyone from Belgium, chances are you heard them say it rains all the time and our summers last about a week. I’m sure you can hear similar complaints all around the world though. And the truth is, the weather really isn’t all that bad in Belgium.
We do not get crazy snowstorms like in North-America, torrential rainfalls like in Asia or extreme heatwaves like in the Middle East. We’re sort of ‘neutral’ in every season really, except for some unexpected highs and lows on occasion. We do get all four seasons and we actually do them pretty well.
The sky might not always say “Hey, spring is here!” but the trees and flowers definitely prove it different. And spring suits Brussels so nicely…
