Sunday is a great day for people who love to explore the city. It doesn’t really matter if you live in Brussels all your life or if you are a newly arrived expat. The city always has so many unexplored corners, streets, neighborhoods, events. Sometimes, even a little detail on a beautiful building can make your day, and it is amazing how often we discover new things in the well-known places. This Sunday we share with you an impression from Karolina, who runs Europolitan Trends, a platform for sharing creative and innovative urban stories from European cities and regions. This is how Karlina felt about her Sunday in Brussels and below you can find some of her recent photos:
Recently I really like this part of St. Gilles. Look at the beautiful facades. What about you – do you hang around your neighborhoods or do you explore the entire city? I do the latter- if I can I will walk, bike or take ground transportation anywhere that I haven’t been yet (if I can I will avoid underground for a simple reason that it stupefies and I never know what is above me)
