Cirque du Soleil’s OVO is coming to Brussels with a completely reinvented show

Created 15 years ago, the famous show OVO by Cirque du Soleil will be making a stop in Brussels with a renewed version! After several months of work, the OVO team will be presenting the new iteration of the show: a reimagined set design, new acrobatic acts, original characters, reimagined costumes, and reinvented music. The show will be presented at ING Arena in Brussels from 30 September to 4 October 2026.

What to expect?
From mighty crickets bouncing off trampolines to a hypnotic spider contorting inside her web, OVO exudes extraordinary showmanship to tickle the imagination. Funny and chaotic, yet adorable and wonderful, the show charms our inner child with its sweet exuberance. Comprised of 100 people from 25 different countries, including 53 artists, OVO (which means “egg” in Portuguese) brings to the stage high-level acrobatic acts redefining the limits of the human body. Since its opening in Montreal in 2009, this show has thrilled more than 7 million people in 40 different countries.

After captivating audiences in 40 countries and enchanting crowds in Europe, the Middle East and North America, OVO will be presented at the ING Arena in Brussels from 30 September to 4 October 2026.

In OVO, an awkward, quirky insect discovers a magnificent ladybug in a bustling neighborhood, and they instantly fall in love. Their enchanting romance unfolds amidst a vibrant ecosystem, revealing a world filled with energy and life. Expect insects that work, eat, flutter, and play in a riot of motion, showcasing the beauty and biodiversity of their hidden universe. As a mysterious egg appears, curiosity and awe fill the community, representing the cycles of their lives. OVO showcases the beauty and chaos of the insect world, balancing moments of tenderness and excitement, and revealing the rich biodiversity at our feet.
