The Brussels Expertise Labels (BEL) organises the 4th edition of the BEL Prizes, from November 14th to November 16th 2025, in Autoworld Brussels. This event will honour the expertise, creativity and innovation made in Brussels.
BEL is a label reuniting 62 brands spread across 12 different activity sectors all engaged to promote Brussels’ excellence combining traditional craftsmanship and contemporary innovations.
Since the very first edition of this yearly event in 2022, no less than 15 personalities and businesses have been celebrated for making Brussels shine. In 2025 five new talents will be added to this unique circle, reaching the symbolic number of 20, illustrating the dynamic entrepreneurial excellence in Brussels.
Two prizes, five talents
1/ Transmission Prize
The four laureates of the 2025 edition don’t make do with half measures. This new generation brings together excellent know-how 3.0, social impact and creative disruptiveness.
Marie Adam-Leenaerdt : She was trained at La Cambre Mode/s/, Balenciaga and Givenchy and one of the finalists of the LVMH Prize 2024 and the ANDAM Prize 2024. She is at the cradle of a committed, poetic and contemporary brand putting Brussels on the international map of fashion.
MWO Design : This studio, founded by Mathilde Wittock who graduated from the Central Saint Martins, creates solutions that are sensible to sound and the environment by blending design, biology and regenerating materials.
Studio Heymans : This studio has been specialised in the scenography of urban store windows for the past 20 years. They have developed a rental system bringing together art and design making commercial spaces enchanting again.
SWET : A company creating and selling spicy sauces traditionally made with natural, local and seasonal ingredients. They embody a new Belgian culinary wave where transparency, quality and creativity are combined. The brand redefines the standards through multiple, and often very unexpected, collaborations.
2/ Ambassador Prize
This prestigious prize is awarded to a person or company embodying the Brussels’ ambassadorship and who has contributed to the growth of Brussels on a regional, national and international level.
The winners of the Transmission and Ambassador Prizes will be revealed on November 13th during the BEL PRIZES evening, tailormade for those who help shape BEL. To win an award, one must meet the following criteria: strong alignment with the BEL DNA, diversity, responsible impact, creativity and innovation for the common good. The winners will receive a privileged access to the BEL network and activities because together we’re stronger. The winners will be handed as well a trophy designed by Romain Zacchi.
“Brussels’ expertise is a form of art in which each brand is looking to create emotion and to make people reflect on how excellence should be defined.”
— Pierre Marcolini
Temporary exhibition “When Expertise Meets Art”: showcase of talents
From November 14th to 16th November, Autoworld Brussels will be transformed into an exceptional avant-garde scene welcoming the temporary exhibition “When Expertise Meets Art”, an event that promises to redefine the codes of contemporary expertise.
The idea is to build bridges between know-how and modern creativity. On the Blue Boulevard, the central alley of the museum, almost 60 creative collaborations will come to life. Each collaboration, carried by a BEL member and an artist, designer or creative studio or school, give a new meaning to an unseen immersive experience.
After the success of 2024 some of the pairs will return with a new enriched offer, strengthening their common view.
The public is invited to feel, explore, to marvel… and to (re)discover the Brussels’ expertise from a new perspective.
Some of the pairs who confirmed their presence:
Bodart Opticiens and Marius et Marion, two students of INSA Strasbourg – Bouvy and Asia Kozina – Choux de Bruxelles and Adeline Haugen – Comme chez Soi and l’IA – Cubex and Jérôme Meynen – De Coninck and Stefan De Jaeger – Festi Rent and Julien Jamsin for Cloud Studio – Marie’s Corner and MWO Design by Mathilde Wittock – Monsel and Sébastien Pauwels – etc.
