Stylish city diary: 24-hours in Brussels by the sisters

Planning a short escape to the city is always fun, not just for curious tourists but also for locals who want to spend a fun day wandering around town. So what happens if you had 24 hours in Brussels and what are some of the trendiest spots and must-do activities? For this edition of our guest photo blog, sisters K & Z share how they spend a perfect day in the city.

There’s nothing like starting the day with an intense fitness session in a space that inspires and energizes you. The Mix is the place to be for those who love sport, wellness, and lifestyle.

My favorite part? The after-sport moment. A sauna–ice bath–steam room combo that leaves you feeling totally renewed. – K

Café Encré – Instagram spot

This new café is the latest Instagram hotspot. Completely red, edgy, and super trendy down to every detail. The menu, the cups, the fitting room, the merch — I definitely recommend going and snapping a few selfies while you’re there. – Z

Senteur d’Ailleurs
There’s nothing like smelling amazing and having a scent that’s not everywhere — discovering a fragrance that becomes you, that makes you feel unique and special.

Scent is our inner appeal, which is why I always recommend Senteur d’Ailleurs, a space 100% dedicated to luxury perfume brands.

Every month I go get my refill of Eleventh Hour by Byredo. – K

Alphonse – Coffee but…

4 p.m. and my friends are finally free for a drink. One of my favorite cafés with an incredible drinks menu is Alphonse.

Espresso martini, wine, or champagne — paired with a slice of carrot cake? Divine. – Z

Akai – Best sushi ever, New York vibes and beats

Dinner with the best sushi in Brussels, good wine, and dancing? No doubt: the afterwork parties at AKAI, on the 30th floor of the Cardo Hotel, with the best view of Brussels.

Being at this place makes us feel like we’re in NYC. We’re obsessed! – K & Z
