New business center ‘The Wings’ at Brussels Airport welcomes Hilton Garden Inn

The newest addition to the Brussels hospitality scene is set to open this Spring in the striking new business center ‘The Wings’ at Brussels Airport. The hotel will be named Hilton Garden Inn Brussels Airport, as announced by the partners involved in the project – Hilton Worldwide and Dutch hotel operator Black Label Hotels (BLH).

The brand-new hotel caters to both business and leisure travelers. It will feature 250 rooms, conference facilities, wellness amenities, parking, and a spectacular restaurant with an open kitchen and seating for 175 guests. A distinctive feature of the hotel is its dedicated crew lounges, specifically designed for airline personnel flying to and from the international airport. Hilton Garden Inn Brussels Airport will be the only hotel in the area offering this facility.

Martin Hendricks, CEO of BLH, expressed his excitement about revealing the name of the new project after months of confidentiality – “When partnering with a brand like Hilton, everything must be perfectly in order before the collaboration can be announced to the world. Nothing is left to chance. The fact that Hilton has now partnered with us for the third time in a short period is a great compliment to our company.”

The Wings, of which Hilton Garden Inn Brussels Airport will be a part, is a striking, modern international business complex that fully adheres to the principles of circular construction. The building, which got its name because of its four wings ingeniously connected and playfully referencing the nearby airport—is strategically located at the intersection of major highways. The business center, including the hotel, is easily accessible from the heart of Europe’s capital, Brussels Airport, and various regional train stations.

Marcel van de Vin, BLH’s Chief Operational Officer, is witnessing the Brussels project take shape daily. “We are working tirelessly to get the hotel operational. We hold weekly on-site meetings to ensure nothing is overlooked and that the right people are assigned to the right tasks. Recruitment is in full swing. The fact that 350 qualified candidates have already applied speaks volumes about the appeal of this project.”

Black Label Hotels is a Dutch hotel operator with a distinct vision of how a hotel group should be managed in today’s world. The company has grown significantly in just a few years and currently operates seven hotels in the Netherlands and Germany. An eighth unique project near Eindhoven is under development. Hilton Garden Inn Brussels Airport marks the ninth location and the first in Belgium.
