Brussels Bar Show: Elevating Belgium’s Cocktail Scene

On March 30-31, 2025, the first-ever Brussels Bar Show takes place at Silo Brussels. More than just a trade fair, this event aims to establish itself as an annual Brussels rendezvous, serving as a vibrant platform for exchange and networking among bartenders from all over Belgium.

While industry professionals will have the opportunity to connect and forge partnerships, visitors can attend conferences (main stage) and seminars (registration required via the website) led by bartenders, sommeliers, and hospitality professionals from both Belgium and abroad.

The Brussels Bar Show is the brainchild of Belgian sommelier and bartender Hannes Desmedt and communication, events, and marketing expert Alice Bown, who was named “Wine Lady of the Year” in 2020.

In November 2023, we had a bold idea: to bring Belgian bartenders together for a local event that would inspire the industry, highlight the unity of Belgium’s cocktail community on the international stage, and introduce it to Belgians as well. If Berlin, Brooklyn, Athens, and Amsterdam have their own Bar Show, it was time for Brussels to have one too!” – Alice Bown

The event will also showcase alcohol-free beverage brands and Belgian spirits, alongside market leaders like Campari, Hendrick’s, and Cointreau. The best mixologists will craft exclusive creations, highlighting these iconic brands.
