Welcoming 2024: New Year’s Eve in Brussels!

Looking for spectacular fireworks to end this year and dive into 2024 with a great show? The City of Brussels traditionally celebrates New Year’s Eve with fireworks and this year the event will take place at the Place des Palais / Paleizenplein at midnight.

The square will be accessible from 11 pm for all those who want to observe the magnificent show and celebrate the arrival of new year together.

How to move around the city during NYE?

STIB has updated their services for the celebratory night – all metros and trams will run more frequently until 2 a.m. and the network will be free after midnight. No need to buy a ticket for your first trip of the new year! 🙂 To arrive to the fireworks show, the metro stations that are closest to place des Palais / Paleizenplein are Arts-Loi / Kunst-Wet (M1-2-5-6), Gare Centrale / Centraal Station (M1-5) and Trône / Troon (M2-6).
