Get immersed in Tim Burton’s Labyrinth in Brussels

Tim Burton’s Labyrinth, the immersive experience that leads people through the creative universe of the genius director opened in Brussels on 20th October at Tour & Taxis. This is a unique opportunity to access the inner world of the celebrated director and dive into his creative process by discovering hundreds of original works. The show comes to Brussels after a huge success in Madrid and Paris where it welcomed more than 500.000 visitors.

The exhibition, an original creation of LETSGO in collaboration with the filmmaker, follows the path of the director’s different projects through his original drawings and designs. The experience consists of an exciting labyrinth that will show different themes from the filmmaker, via a variety of rooms utilizing technology, lights and scenography from his movies.

Each room will lead you to a unique experience and only you will decide your path… So choose the doors you want to open!

In this way, the exhibition provides a unique experience; an exciting journey through the creative universe of the director, producer, writer and artist that has amazed both children and adults with such films as Beetlejuice, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Sweeney Todd and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Walk through the dark and magical forest of The Funeral, (re)discover the colourful characters of Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Beetlejuice, and lose yourself in the incredible world of Alice in Wonderland and Mr Jack’s Christmas.

The visitor will be able to travel through the mind of the genius and explore his favorite characters and environments from his wide and celebrated filmography. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes, depending on the path chosen.

Tim Burton himself described it as “a fantastic fair”, a surprising journey through all his films. Although each visit is unique depending on which door you open, we guarantee that you will visit at least the most important rooms. A standard visit gives access to 15 rooms based on the most emblematic universes of Tim Burton.

On average, each room contains 10 original works, some of which have never been exhibited before. During your own original journey through the labyrinth, you will discover a total of at least 150 original works.

Tim Burton’s Labyrinth can be accessed at Tour & Taxis until February 2024. Get more info & tickets on the official website.
