What do you do to brighten up while the days are still gloomy? Put on your woollens and gear up for an extended weekend of the annual light festival – Bright Brussels! Since 2023 is the year of Art Nouveau in Brussels, this beautiful theme is also incorporated in the unique light installations across the city.
For this new edition, the event will focus on three beautiful neighbourhoods: the Royal Quarter, the European District and Shaerbeek – the area from the Lehon Quarter to Avenue Louis Bertrand.
“Follow the light” – The routes will be subtly marked by some twenty immersive and poetic works of art. Beyond the illuminated artworks, there will be numerous other activities on the programme: late night openings and visits to museums, guided tours, art nouveau programme and partner initatives. The various works that will be on the program for these four evenings have already been unveiled on the official website of the event and visitors can also download the map of activities.
