World Economic Forum (WEF) recently published a video with top 5 innovative countries in Europe. Belgium is on the position number 5 among Europe’s most innovative states. The ranking is based on the European Innovation Scoreboard by European Commission.
Countries are ranked by research, patents and quality of education. It is noted that Belgium scores high thanks to the fact that its government invests strongly in business research and development.
Apart from Belgium, other top performers in the innovation sector are The Netherlands, Denmark, Finland and finally Sweden as the most innovative country in the European Union.
