Parlamentarium – visitors’ centre of the European Parliament celebrates its 10th anniversary! The centre has received more than 2.5 million visitors since first opening its doors in Brussels.
Parlamentarium is a place where people come to discover the world of European Parliament and learn about the daily work of this institution. Visitors can also get insights into the different aspects of European Union’s democratic process and how decisions made in the Parliament directly influence the lives of the EU citizens.
For instance, visitors can find out what MEPs think about the topics of the day and discover the latest interactive media stations featuring key topics such as climate change, the digital transition and the Conference on the Future of Europe.
The Parlamentarium is very dynamic and interactive by design, available in any of the European Union’s 24 official languages, which really makes it unique and accessible to the people of all generations and backgrounds. On top of this, the centre is open seven days a week and is free to visit. Both locals and tourists like to combine this museum together with the nearby House of European History and discovering the European District of Brussels.
