Great news for culture aficionados – September 2021 is the time for the artistic re-entry in Brussels! Boombartstic Art Magazine brings us a selection of 10 events that you should not miss this month.
September in Brussels brings the reopening of art galleries while most of the major exhibitions scheduled in museums and art centres are back in October.
First unmissable event of the “back-to-school” agenda is the Brussels Gallery Weekend, followed by Art on Paper at BOZAR and the second edition of the Brussels Drawing Week. We would also like to salute for this fall, the big comeback of art fairs and in particular that of the Affordable Art Fair at Tour & Taxis as well as We Are Artists.
Design enthusiasts will immerse themselves in the rich program of Brussels Design September, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary. Another flagship event for the general public is the Heritage Days, which this year also offers an Off program.
September 2021 is also a reflection of emerging creation which is in the focuses of almost every event included in this selection. We should also mention: the promenade – Doppelgänger exhibition in the Dansaert district, UTOPE in Molenbeek and We Art XL – artists’ journey from the municipality of Ixelles.
In short, this is an invigorating comeback full of surprises, ready to conquer any audience, solo, in duo, in family or in bubbles.
