Full of life: The Summer of Tour & Taxis!

Tour & Taxis is rightfully getting a lot of attention recently for all the good reasons – superb renovation of the historical buildings, great diversity of spaces – mixing residential, business & leisure activities and a location which is becoming one of Brussels’ hotspots. On top of everything, the summer months will be full of culture and entertainment as the ‘Summer of Tour & Taxis‘ kicked off on 10th of June.

All those who are looking for something special this summer in Brussels will definitely enjoy the diverse programme which includes a mix of concerts, art exhibitions, pop-up bars such as Bar Maritime, food trucks and other festivities.

What to expect?
Tour & Taxis is one of the prime examples of a reinvented neighbourhood and the project has already won international recognition for the quality of redevelopment works. The site has a number of buildings of exceptional size and architectural value such as the Royal Depot, Hôtel des Douanes, Hôtel de la Poste, Gare Maritime and the Sheds. This alone makes it a very attractive place for discovery and exploration, especially for the quality of restoration of historical buildings and the green areas surrounding the site.

An extensive programme of activities during the ‘Summer of Tour & Taxis‘ promises to define the rhythm of the summer in Brussels. Visitors can expect sunny pop-up bars with hip DJs, great expos, food stalls, many recreational activities for all generations (Tango Argentino, Salsa dance…) and an open mic for everyone who can’t wait to reconnect with a live audience after months in isolation.
