Rose Fulbright – Celebrating The Joy of Beauty in Brussels

Rose Fulbright, purveyor of joyous colourful prints and luxury garments, chooses Ixelles / Elsene for Brussels launch.

Named ‘The girl born to design’ by British Vogue at the age of just 28, fashion designer Rose Fulbright-Vickers is introducing her luxury designs to Belgium at a joyous pop-up event in beautiful Ixelles. Rose’s loungewear, beachwear and lifestyle pieces celebrate art, print and nature, and are sold worldwide from China to Canada.

Rose and her husband came to Brussels from Beijing to start their young family in 2018, and she is now thrilled to introduce her style of individuality, joy and elegance to the capital. Rose designs all her own prints, hand-painting each individual element before
scanning and creating beautiful patterns with her work, which is inspired by travel, dreams and culture. With a background in fashion and costume design (she earned a First Class Honours degree at London College of Fashion), she also designs all garments, home and lifestyle products from her studio in Woluwe 1150. All garments are hand-made in London using the finest silks, featuring these exclusive hand-painted prints, with an ethical and ecologically conscious approach.

The time has come for a joyous celebration of the coming of summer, along with Belgium and the world’s gradual emergence from the very difficult past year.

Asked about the launch in Brussels, designer Rose shared her enthusiasm – “The pop-up event is timed perfectly to reflect people’s mood – there is more optimism, more positivity and a feeling of wanting to connect with people again, and I am so excited to be holding this event in such a thriving, buzzing part of the city. My designs have been making my clients all over the world feel amazing for the past seven years, and I’m thrilled to be able to open up here in Belgium at this very unique time.”

Event details: Rue Armand Campenhout 65, Ixelles | June 23-26 | 11h-18h
