Events diary

Cancelled: Museum Night Fever, Saturday 14.03.

Due to the security measures applied against the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the 13th edition of Museum Night Fever which was planned for this Saturday 14.03 will not take place.

The organisers regret the situation and issued the following statement:

We view the Coronavirus pandemic as members of a community. Your health is our primary concern here.

In the days leading up to the pandemic, we tried to assess the situation based on the guidelines we received from the various government authorities involved. The months of work that preceded the event for our team and all those involved (museums, young artistic partners, volunteers, etc.) influenced our perception for a long time. The recommendations were open to interpretation and the increased safety measures seemed sufficient to us at first. However, this in no way justifies our earlier decision to maintain the event and we assume our responsibility. Our sincerest apologies.

We ourselves have been more than affected by this situation, the consequences of which, especially on a financial level, are dramatic. Brussels Museums is a small independent association of eight people, of which only a small part works on Museum Night Fever.

We are currently investigating if a kind of compensation is possible at this stage for people who have already bought their tickets.

We thank you for your understanding and solidarity. Take care of each other.
